A few good questions.
Is this the same app as CryptFolio?
Yes. moonpocket is our new name. Your records and preferences stay in the same app. Export a backup in Settings, then install the Android update over your existing CryptFolio installation. Do not uninstall or clear app storage.
Is this an exchange or a wallet?
It’s a manual portfolio tracker. Record opening balances, buys, sells, and swaps you’ve already made. moonpocket doesn’t hold crypto, connect to wallets, or place orders.
Where do prices come from?
Market data comes from CoinPaprika. Quotes refresh while the app is open and show their age. Coverage and price history vary by asset; quotes aren’t real-time trading prices.
Can I use it on iPhone or the web?
This beta is for Android. This website previews the design; your portfolio lives in the Android app. An iPhone release and browser portfolio tracking aren’t available yet.
What happens when I change phones?
Export a backup in Settings and restore it on the new phone. There’s no cloud sync or automatic Android backup, so keep your export somewhere safe. From 1.3 onward, check Settings → App updates for improvements. Compatible updates apply on the next cold launch or a restart you choose. For APK upgrades, install over your existing app; don’t uninstall.
